What does this error mean?
The E4 code tells you the fridge’s control board has detected a problem with the evaporator fan circuit — either the fan motor has stopped spinning, is running too slowly, or the sensor monitoring the evaporator temperature is sending back an abnormal reading. Without a working evaporator fan, cold air cannot circulate properly around the fridge compartment, so temperatures rise even though the compressor may still be running.
